Instructional Coach

Biography:

Christina Rose is an Instructional Coach for the New Teacher Support Program (NCNTSP) who supports student learning by providing personalized guidance, feedback, and resources to improve instructional practice. Christina  believes ALL students should have access to a high-quality education, and she stands firmly on the notion that beautiful rewards are the result of teacher effectiveness and teacher efficiency.

Christina develops relationships with administration and teachers across grade levels and aims to help transform learning spaces.  Currently, she is working toward improving educational outcomes for students in the Charlotte region by supporting beginning teachers. 

Christina has received several Teacher of the Year Awards, including District Teacher of the Year, and she has been recognized for her outstanding performance as it relates to student achievement. She is a double alumna from UNC Charlotte with a BA in English and MED in Middle Grades/Secondary Education. 

When she is not coaching, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, traveling, and participating in service activities with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
