Biography:

Lindsay Schultz is an Instructional Coach for the NC New Teacher Support Program (NC NTSP) who supports teachers by developing authentic relationships as she walks alongside them to hone instructional practices and enhance student learning outcomes. Lindsay believes developing trusting relationships with teachers is a cornerstone of effective coaching. When teachers feel comfortable seeking guidance and feedback from their coach, it enhances the coaching process and leads to more substantial professional growth.

Lindsay supports teachers in various K-12 schools, cultivates relationships with coachees, administrators, and leadership team members, and fosters a collaborative culture. She works to overcome challenges with teachers, celebrates their successes, and promotes reflective practice. Currently, Lindsay is serving beginning teachers in South-Central North Carolina and tiering coaching supports and approaches to best fit their needs. 

Lindsay holds a Bachelor of English with a Minor in Secondary Education, and a Master of Reading Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

When she is not coaching, Lindsay enjoys adventuring with her husband and three boys, cooking, and engaging in learning new skills.
